1. Filter should be backflushed after each use. If filter is used multiple times during the day, it should be backflushed at the end of the day. Do not allow filter to dry out before backflushing, as sediment may solidify and make cleaning difficult or impossible.

2. Remove filter housing from hose.

3. Connect syringe or plastic bottle to housing and flush with FILTERED water until discharge is clear.

4. Reconnect filter housing to hose.
